Unerased

SD & USB recovery for Android

Deleted it from the card? See what's still there.

Deleted photos from your camera's SD card? Formatted a USB stick by mistake? Unerased looks for deleted files on the memory cards and USB drives you plug into your phone, and shows you exactly what it can get back before you pay anything.

It works on external media only: SD and microSD cards in a USB card reader, and USB flash drives over an OTG adapter. It cannot recover files from your phone's internal storage. No app can do that without root, and we'd rather tell you now than after you've paid.

How it works

Look first, then decide

Unerased opens the drive read-only. Nothing is ever written to the drive you are recovering from. Every result shows a real preview decoded from the recovered data itself, never a cached thumbnail.

What it does

Two passes, both honest

Undelete

  • On FAT32 and exFAT drives it reads the file system's own records of deleted files, so files usually keep their original names

Deeper search

  • A best-effort search scans the free space for photos (JPEG, PNG), videos (MP4, MOV) and PDFs, even after a quick format

Labels

  • Each file is labelled intact, partial or unlikely, so you know what to expect before you save it
  • If nothing can be recovered, Unerased says so plainly. No fake results, no padded lists

Save

  • Save the files you want to another place, such as your phone or a different drive
  • Unerased refuses to save onto the drive you are recovering from

Being straight with you

What no app can fix

Files that have been overwritten can't be brought back, and fragmented videos often come back damaged. That's a limit of how storage works, not something any app can fix.

Tip: stop using the card or drive as soon as you notice the loss. Every new photo or file can overwrite what you are trying to rescue.

Your data stays with you

It cannot send your files anywhere

No internet permission: the app cannot send your files anywhere. No ads, no tracking, no accounts. No broad "all files" storage access. You choose where recovered files are saved.

The details are in the privacy policy (en español).

Pricing

Scanning and previews are free.

Saving recovered files needs a one-time Pro unlock. No subscription.
